What is MLM?

Many people ask, What is MLM or "What is MLM all about"? Well MLM is probably one of the most powerful things that has happened to the internet.

MLM is an acronym for Multi Level Marketing or sometimes referred to as network marketing. Multi Level Marketing is when a company has a product or service and it uses a person like you or me to sell and promote that product.

You earn a commission when you sell the goods or services on the company's behalf. But, the fun doesn't stop there. You are able to join other people up under you as salespeople.

The people who join the system under you are called your downline. You usually help to train your downline to market the company's products. You may ask the question "why would I do that?"

The Power of MLM

The number of levels deep and the percentages vary from company to company, but you may be starting to see the power of leverage by now.

An example is...

You may be asleep in your bed and one of you downline makes a sale on the other side of the globe, your friend down the street who is also one of your downline makes a sale, you have just earnt two commissions whilst you sleep.
